Data Deletion Instructions

At DLTracks, we respect your privacy and your right to have your personal data deleted. This document provides comprehensive instructions on how to request the deletion of your data from our Platform.

We comply with data protection regulations including GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable privacy laws that grant you the right to erasure (the "right to be forgotten").

3. Self-Service Data Deletion

You can delete certain data directly from your DLTracks account:

3.1 Delete Individual Campaign Data

  1. Log in to your DLTracks account
  2. Navigate to the "Campaigns" section
  3. Select the campaign you wish to delete
  4. Click the "Delete Campaign" button
  5. Confirm the deletion in the popup dialog
  6. The campaign data will be deleted within 24 hours

3.2 Delete Account Settings

  1. Log in to your DLTracks account
  2. Go to "Settings" → "Account"
  3. Click "Edit Profile"
  4. Remove or update personal information as needed
  5. Click "Save Changes"

3.3 Disconnect Facebook Integration

  1. Log in to your DLTracks account
  2. Go to "Settings" → "Integrations"
  3. Find "Facebook Ads" integration
  4. Click "Disconnect" button
  5. Confirm the disconnection
  6. Your Facebook access tokens will be deleted immediately

4. Complete Account Deletion

To delete your entire DLTracks account and all associated data:

4.1 Via Account Settings

  1. Log in to your DLTracks account
  2. Navigate to "Settings" → "Account"
  3. Scroll to the bottom and click "Delete Account"
  4. You will be asked to confirm your password
  5. Review the data deletion notice
  6. Click "Permanently Delete My Account"
  7. You will receive a confirmation email

★ Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be deleted within 30 days.

4.2 What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • All personal account information
  • All campaign data and metrics
  • All usage logs and analytics
  • All stored communications
  • All billing and payment records (except as required by law)
  • All Facebook integration data and tokens

4.3 What May Be Retained

For legal and compliance reasons, we may retain:

  • Anonymized and aggregated data
  • Data required for legal compliance (tax, accounting)
  • Data required to resolve disputes
  • Data required for fraud prevention

5. Data Deletion Request Form

If you prefer not to use the self-service deletion options, you can submit a formal data deletion request:

6. Processing Timeline

We are committed to processing your data deletion requests promptly:

  • Acknowledgment: Within 2 business days
  • Verification: Within 5 business days
  • Deletion: Within 30 days of verification
  • Confirmation: You will receive an email confirming deletion

7. Verification Process

To protect your privacy and security, we verify all deletion requests:

  • We will confirm your identity using the email address on file
  • You may be asked to provide additional verification information
  • For sensitive requests, we may require additional documentation
  • This process helps prevent unauthorized deletion of accounts

8. Data Deletion and Facebook

Important information about your Facebook data:

  • Deleting your DLTracks account does NOT delete your Facebook Ads account
  • Your Facebook campaigns and data will remain in your Facebook account
  • We will delete our copies of your Facebook data
  • To delete Facebook Ads data, you must do so directly in your Facebook account
  • Facebook has its own data retention and deletion policies

9. Exceptions to Deletion

We may not be able to delete certain data in the following circumstances:

  • Data required by law or regulation
  • Data needed to resolve disputes or legal claims
  • Data required for fraud prevention and security
  • Data needed for accounting and tax purposes
  • Data that has been anonymized or aggregated
  • Data required to enforce our terms of service
